The Development Strategy for Facility of Jembatan Pelangi Tourist Attraction in Pesisir Selatan Regency

Abstract
This research is motivated by problems related to facilities at the Jembatan Pelangi tourist attraction, namely: road accessibility in a pothole condition, retribution posts are still small huts made of makeshift wood, tubing equipment posts are not yet available, places to eat and are still minimal, public toilets are still lacking, clean and poorly maintained, unavailability of souvenir shops, rinse rooms, prayer rooms, parking areas that are not neatly arranged and inadequate, parking guards do not regulate vehicles, trash cans are still minimal. This study aims to determine the strategy of developing facilities at the Jembatan Pelangi tourist attraction. This research is a type of descriptive research with qualitative data. Determination of informants using linear snowball sampling technique with 7 key informants. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. This study uses data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the development research conducted, namely: 1) regarding the best possible available land to expand road access and coordinate with stakeholders in the management of development land. 2) Make an official entrance ticket. 3) Create a simple place to eat and drink. 4) Make a proposal for development fund assistance. 5) Establish a gift shop in a strategic place. 6) Providing souvenir training programs. 7) Create a hygiene slogan. 8) Provide organic and non-organic waste bins. 9) Placing sign boards at several points of the way. 10) Making the Jembatan Pelangi tourist attraction a clean and trash-free tourist attraction.
