Self-efficacy relates to a person's belief to perform the expected ability. Interest is a sense of attraction from within the individual that encourages and influences a person's behavior to realize his desires. iThisistudyiaimsitoianalyzeitheirelationshipibetween self-efficacy iandiinterestiin becoming a teacher for students of the Makeup and Beauty Education Study Program. This study uses an associative descriptive method with a quantitative approach that aims to find out whether or not there is a relationship or influence between one variable and another. The data collection technique used in this study was using a Likert scale questionnaire. Instruments in the implementation of development use a questionnaire to test the validity and reliability. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of descriptive analysis test, analytical prerequisite test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study self-efficacy obtained the highest score in the medium category as many as 64 respondents or 16%. And the results of the variable score of interest in becoming a teacher in the medium category were 63 respondents or 65%. The results of the normality test obtained a significant value of 0.241, then the data in this study were normally distributed. The linearity test results obtained a significant value Deviation from linearity is 0.714, then the independent variable (X) has a linear relationship to the variable (Y). And the results of the hypothesis test obtained a significance value of 0.000, based on the decision-making category. Significant value <0.05, meaning that self-efficacy is positively and significantly related to interest in becoming a teacher.
