Abstract
This research is motivated by guest complaints regarding stay satisfaction which is influenced by the Muslim friendly hotel attribute and the deficiencies in each aspect of the available Muslim friendly hotel attributes. The purpose of this study is to describe the Muslim friendly hotel attribute and guest satisfaction and to determine the effect of these two variables. The type of research is quantitative with a causal approach. This research was conducted at the Rangkayo Basa hotel in the city of Padang. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique of non-probability sampling with primary data. The research instrument used a questionnaire Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability beforehand. This data was analyzed using SPSS version 20.00 and Smart PLS version 4. Descriptive testing of variable data was included in the good category 13,779 and 12,950. Testing the hypothesis is guided by the acquisition of an Adjusted R square value of 0.734, meaning that the influence of the Muslim friendly hotel attribute on guest satisfaction is 73.4% and 26.6% is influenced by other factors. Then the t-statistic was 48.6 > 1.96 and the p-value level
0.00 <0.05. The sample ordinal value is 0.857 which indicates that the direction of the relationship between Muslim friendly hotel attributes and guest satisfaction is positive. Thus it can be concluded in this study that the Muslim friendly hotel attribute affects guest satisfaction, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected
