This research was conducted at Batik Nitik “Sekar Nitik” Kembangsongo, Trimulyo, Jetis District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. This research aims to create Batik Nitik motifs typical of Yogyakarta with a combination of Minangkabau Batik motifs typical of West Sumatra by providing philosophical values and beauty values. The research method used qualitative method and experimental method. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and documentation techniques.

The development of Batik Nitik motifs was carried out by creating motifs by combining typical Minangkabau Batik motifs from West Sumatra. The motifs used consist of Sekar Gambir Motif, Sekar Lombok Motif, Rumah Gadang Motif and Geometric Motif. The stages of the process of making Batik Nitik are carried out starting from the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the results of batik works. The creation of Batik Nitik motifs with a combination of Minangkabau Batik motifs is expected to create creativity, fashion innovation, and cultural preservation as expressed in motif ideas. The combination of motifs in batik not only reflects the dynamics of culture and art but also plays a role in innovation and adaptation to the times.
