Abstract


The background of this research is a variety of traditional cosmetics in Indonesia and learningdemands by technological developments. This research aims to develop learning media that ispractical to use and can be accessed anywhere and at any time in the form of e-modules. E-moduledeveloped with Articulate Storyline application. The method used in this research is the researchand development with the ADDIE model. In the development of ADDIE, there are five stages,namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. At theevaluation stage, the researcher used a questionnaire instrument distributed to material experts,media experts, and students at the cosmetic and beauty therapy University of Jakarta. The researchresults show that the material expert assessment is 82%, and the media expert assessment is 80%.This research also conducted small group trials obtained 94%, and field tests obtained results of91%. Based on the research that has been done, it is concluded that the Traditional Cosmeticselectronic module is suitable and practical to use as an alternative learning media.
