Abstract


This research was conducted to develop a video tutorial media on manual face massageĀ  in the form of video tutorials. Problem Found in this material because students still have difficulty understanding learning concepts from textbooks and teachers only demonstrate partial and manual strengthening activities on participant learning outcomes educate students. The aims of this research are a) To develop media manual face sorting tutorial video b) To find out the level the validity and practicality of manual facial making tutorial video media at SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development). The model used in this study is a 4-D model which through the stages: define, design, development and desseminte.. Population The research is students of class X KC 1 Beauty care SMK 3 Negeri Padangsidimpuan teaching 2022-2023 which opens 28 people. Technique data collection is carried out using an assessment or questionnaire assessment used to test material experts and media experts as well as The practicality test was obtained from the responses of teachers and students. Data analysis technique with the video media assessment score from the questionnaire given and categorized according to the interpretation obtained. Based on the results of the validation of the learning video media by design experts media is 0.840 with valid category and material validation is 0.846 with valid category. While the practicality test of the teacher's response is 91.6% with very practical category and the response of students is 88.2% with the category very practical. From the results of these acquisitions, the video tutorial media has been valid and practical to use as a learning medium for facial massage manual at SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. The suggestions that researchers give related to the results of this study, the first is for teachers to be able to use this learning video media as a reference in learning in class for students of this video media are advised to take advantage of this video by good for improving learning outcomes.
