Pineapple leaf fiber can be used as an alternative material for making false eyelashes as a substitute for synthetic materials, especially human hair because of the prohibition in Islam to trade hair. This study aims to determine the feasibility of False Eyelashes from Pineapple-Leaf Fibres for make-up. This research is an experimental quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The object of this research is pineapple leaf fiber which is made as raw material for making false eyelashes. Laboratory tests were carried out in the fiber laboratory of the Bandung Textile Technology Polytechnic College. The organoleptic test was carried out by 9 panelists consisting of 3 people from eyelash service businesses/services, 3 people from MUA and 3 panelists from Lecturers from Makeup and Beauty FPP UNP. The statistical test was carried out by using the Independent sample t test. The results of the analysis showed that the results of laboratory examinations showed that the pineapple leaf fiber had fiber fineness with an average of 2.36 and a CV of 8.40%. Has a tensile strength / strands higher than the others that is equal to 46.45. There is a significant average difference in false eyelashes curl in the control group and the experimental group. Where the N-Gain score (difference in average value) is 1.22. There was no significant average difference in false eyelashes lightening in the control group and the experimental group. Where the N-Gain score (difference in average value) is 0.11. There is a significant average difference in the neatness of false eyelashes in the control group and the experimental group. Where the N-Gain score (difference in average value) is 1.00. There is a significant average difference in preference for false eyelashes in the control group and the experimental group. Where the N-Gain score (difference in average value) is 1.44.
