DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING VIDEO MEDIA ON HAIR TRIMMING AND DYEING LESSONS AT SMK N 6 CITY OF PADANG

Abstract
This research was conducted because of the unavailability of learning videos on the subject of hair trimming and coloring. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of learning media based on video learning on the subject matter of double hair coloring applications at SMK Negeri 6 Padang, to determine the validity and practicality of learning media based on video learning of double hair coloring applications. This type of research is research and development using 4-D steps. The research population was students of class XI KC II SMK Negeri 6 Padang in the academic year of 2022, amounting to 32 people. The data analysis technique is to calculate the video media assessment score from the questionnaire given. The media design validation results obtained are 0.89 with a very valid category and 0.82 for material validation with a very valid category. Practicality results obtained from student responses of 86.07% with a very practical category and practicality scores obtained from teacher responses of 87.2 with very practical categories. From the acquisition of these results, the video-based learning media can be said to be valid and practical to be used as teaching materials in the classroom. As for the suggestions that the researchers gave regarding the results of this study, the first is for teachers to be able to use this learning video media as a reference in classroom learning, this video media can be used during the double application hair coloring learning process.Keywords: Development, Video, Learning, Hair Coloring, Research And Development
