This research was conducted to develop a learning video media for manual facial massage in the form of video tutorials on basic beauty subjects at SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. The implementation of this research is aimed at developing manual facial massage video tutorial media and to determine the level of validity and practicality which is the result of the development that has been carried out. This type of research is research and development (Reseach and Development). The model used in this study is a 4-D model that goes through the following stages: define, design, development and desseminte. The research population is students of class X KC 1 Beauty care SMKN 3 Padangsidimpuan for the academic year 2022-2023 with a sample of 28 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using assessment sheets or questionnaires. Based on the results of the validation of learning video media by media design experts, it is 0.840 with a valid category and for material validation 0.846 with a valid category. While the practicality test of the teacher's response was 91.6% in the very practical category and the student response was 88.2% in the very practical category. From these results, the video tutorial media has been valid and practical to be used as a learning medium for manual facial massage at SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. The suggestions that the researchers gave related to the results of this study were the first for teachers to be able to use this learning video media as a reference in classroom learning for students. This video media is recommended to use this video well to improve learning outcomes.
