Abstract
Vocational education is secondary education that prepares students especially to work in certain fields. Vocational schools must be able to meet the demands of quality and relevance so that their outputs have a competitive advantage and survive in the face of global competition. This research focuses on the study of various literatures on the sustainable professional development of vocational school teachers. The research was conducted in June 2019 at SMK N 1 Tourism, Kab. Siak, Riau Province. Determination of the research sample was done by purposive random sampling technique. Determination of the sample of teacher respondents (data source) as the test subject, all subject teachers in SMK N 1 Tourism were selected. The results obtained in this study are a study of various literatures on the continuous professional development of teachers.
